By far the best present was a homemade stuffed animal from my mom crafted from one of my dad's old shirts. And getting to hold my friend's beautiful baby girls, who will likely be walking and talking the next time I see them.

Christmas in Michigan is COLD
Went home for about a week to celebrate Christmas with my family. It was wonderful to see cousins and aunts and uncles and friends. It was bittersweet knowing I probably won't see them again until next Christmas. But it was a very enjoyable holiday, even if it was ridiculously cold.
