Beautiful Budapest

Budapest for the Fourth of July four day weekend. It was glorious! So different than any other place I've visited. We started the whole thing off with a food tour. And it was amazing. Goulash and langos, paprika and meat, and all of it amazing. We also got some great suggestions of where to eat for the rest of our trip.

Inside the market hall. Such a neat place.

Second largest synagogue in Europe.

All around the Parliament. Including changing of the guards.

View on the inside of Parliament.

Views around Fisherman's Bastion.

Inside the Matthias church, beautifully decorated.

Views from every direction at the top of Matthias Church.

We happened to be there during the Red Bull air races which was pretty neat.

Views around Buda castle.

My friend Miranda checking out the view.

We could see the Liberty Statue from all round the city so we walked all the way up to it.

Sunset at the Liberty Statue was so beautiful.

The top of the hill also had great views of the city.

Wonderful visit all around.

My restaurant recommendations:
In Pest - Ket Szerecsen and Borbirosag
In Buda - Bistro Deryne
Food tour - Eat Hungary.
